Im on to something...

So lately ive had people tell me that ive been on to something with the 1$ per person to try and raise over 7,000,000,000$. my mom told me that she would buy me a website that i could start something on, and i just wanted to know everybody elses opinions! I say this because i mean it sounds like it would be fun and maybe i could travel a little bit and it would definately make my life more interesting but i want to know anything else anybody has to say because thats what will help me out! i mean do you think i could go somewhere with this and try to get a 1$ donation from everybody in the world then make donations to certain charities? I suppose that if i were to do it i could start the campaign on a website and then i might start another blog about that, it would definatly be a journey of a lifetime thats for sure!

Buy a man a fish and you feed him for a week, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

That would be the campaigns slogan because if the whole world came together as one and just donated something so little the world could and would change in a HUGE way, i mean if you really think about it what could u do with 7,000,000,000? think about how many people we could help, children we could help, diseases we could cure, animals we could save, with just one dollar from each person we could change the world, and thats why im hoping that maybe i could get this off the ground because i think that the world needs to know that even something so small as 1$ could change the world.

What i heard and saw today

Today isnt going to be a short post but i heard the most incredible thing today. I was in the car and my dad was talking to me and we had been talking then he started talking about someones birthday and how he was going to get something but then decided he would ask them what they wanted. and this person is turning 21 so its a big b-day this year, and you know what that person said? they said for their birthday they wanted him to make a donation to Relay For Life because she knows someone whos mom had cancer.. that absolutely made me think... what if everybody donated even just 1$ to a charity.. we could raise so much money. Cancer might be cured, End world hunger! we can never tell whats around the corner but i was on a website and it said the world population at the second i looked at it was 7,004,779,030.. if everybody donated a single dollar.. we could all become richer, but not in money, in LIFE. As i was watching this world population counter i kept seeing it go up.. and up.. and up.. its pretty crazy.. check it out for youruself! http://www.ibiblio.org/lunarbin/worldpop

been gone a while!

Sorry to everybody who reads this everyday that i have been away so long it was a really busy and tiring! so anyway thank you everybody for your comments on the pictures i appreciate it! Also somebody mentioned that the browns drafted Colt McCoy and i actually saw that last night and i thought it was kind of funny. so anyway about this week it has been long because i have had track practice and i was really tired tuesday because i had to practice doing hurdles and i was EXHAUSTED! after that i had my track meet Thursday and i came in 4/5 in my event which i was disappointed but i actually improved my time by 2 seconds. Yesterday i had 8th grade Formal which i might post pictures for if i can, but that was fun, and now tonight im having my two of my best friends over for a sleepover! so that was my weekend and i will be more on rack with my posting now!

long week ahead!

So this week is going to be a long one because i have my OAA tests this week.. ohio achievement something tests.. and then after school i have track so i am going to try my best to post every night!

So anyway i was wondering what everbody thought of the pictures!?! post a comment telling me what you think..

Also just something that i thought was funny was last night i went to bed at like 10:00 because we watched a movie.. well i was tired and at 10:30 this morning maggie (my dog) woke me up.. she jumped on my face then she kept jumping until i opened my door to let her downstairs.. by the time i was done fending off he 6 pound wonder i was up and ready to go. So basically my whole day i just kind of sat around and had a GREAT sunday.. So that was it!

Dont forget to tell me what you thought of the pictures!

So there was an earthquake today in California --> Earthquake Story <-- Anyway so i was in that (my first one) it was kinda cool i mean i know it is a serious issue but it was sorta fun.. Anyway so funny story me and my sister were making --> deviled eggs <-- and she tried some and thats when the earthquake started. so she tried some and she was like woah i just suddenly got really dizzy, so i ate some while she was saying that and as i took the spoon out of my mouth i was like woah... and then thats when we realized we were in a earthquake. we all just sort of stood there and kind of got thrown around! but yea that is my big story of today. it was a fun day!

Dont let people make you keep your feet on the ground

http://purinaanimalallstars.yahoo.com/?v=7231546&l=100000085

I found this cute video of this dog while i was on yahoo yesterday! [= maybe this dog is like you in many ways but different. for one he cant keep his feet on the ground! for too this dog is still young.. a puppy some might say.

one was you might be different is by my heading i didnt really mean to keep your feet on the ground! what i mean by that is dreaming, DREAM BIG. when i say keeping your feet on the ground i mean lifting off any flying high with your dreams. all the time as i kid i hear adults saying "wow i wish i could do that" or "Wow i wish i would have chose that as my career" or "Man if only i could go back to college and learn how to do that" WELL YOUR THINKING ABOUT IT! i mean if you can think it, you can dream it, and if you can dream it then you can do it! As a kid i dont know if i really have a LOT of experience on this subject but i mean people just need to learn to dream really big and you will reach your goal someday, so do not let other people tell you "oh you cant do that" or even say thats impossible because nothing is impossible when your young and "Fresh" even older people dont have to be stopped by anything, age is just a number. so get out there and do something spontaneous!

What would you do if you were a billionaire for 5 hours?

The question would arise today when i was on the internet i saw a cool article on yahoo

http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/109237/if-you-were-billionaire-for-five-hours

So the question stands. what would YOU do with almost $90,000,000,000?

Me? i would probably buy out the Gamestop! all of them, because i love going to gamestop and it would be cool to own a company. Also i would take all my friends and family sky diving because that is something that i have always wanted to do. Next i would give my sister enough money to last two lifetimes so she could pay for all her college, and buy a really nice car. Third i would give my dad money so that he could pay off the house then do whatever he wanted to for the rest of his life. Fourth i would give my mom enough money so she could live a happy life as what she really wants to be, an artist. Last i would probably donate alot because i honestly wouldn't need 90,000,000,000. That is what i would do with my 90,000,000,000 to say the least i would try to change the world!

Back after a long weekend!

Heey! im back! woohoo it was a GREAAATT weekend! although we didnt win our game its ok we only lost by 2 or 3 or something like that. but also at academic challenge we tied for first! the last 2 years we came in either 5th or 6th (out of 6) so we did really good this year! Last i just want to say that i had a AMAZING time with my mom this weekend! it was so much fun! so that was my great weekend!

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Is it even possible to be this tired?!

So today.. wow i am sooo tired haha today i ran about 3 miles in track, i ran two 400m, one 800m, then a mile around the track and then all on top of that i ran from the track field to arbys and back.. now you may be wondering if i got anything at arbys.. the short answer is no, the long answer is i didnt get it when i went running but right after practice i did because i was SO HUNGRY so my dad took me to Arbys! woohoo. but anyway i know this dosent seem like the best but i got about 9min on my mile.. and that was after already running a mile so i was BEAT! haha but im still tired now.. Last thing is that my Mom is coming home this weekend! if you don't know me and my family then you wouldn't know that she lives in California and i like in Ohio with my dad. so that should be exiting to see her for a weekend. so having said that i probably wont be able to post for this whole weekend unless i take my laptop.. i will think about it, yea this weekend i have Academic Challenge which is kind of like Jeopardy in a way. i don't really know how to further explain it! also i have my last Basketball game against our rivals the Knicks, just kidding they aren't our rivals but one of my best friends is on that team and his mom is the coach! they are 5-2 and we are 6-1 so it should be a GREAT game no matter who wins so good luck to both teams. so thats my post of today! my status is.. Tired! haha and thats what my weekend looks like! so maybe i will try to bring my laptop over to my Grandmas to post a little over the weekend and how our game went or maybe i will just save everything for another lengthy blog!

Last but not least i just wanted to say thank you to everybody who views this daily or weekly.. my view counter hasnt been working but i figure im around 1,000,000 so yea thank you!

Strange Stuff Day

So today was a odd day, for a lack of better words it was strange! haha the first thing that was strange but cool is that i got to take the D.N.A from a strawberry... ya thats right i said a STRAWBERRY!, it was pretty cool. the second thing that was Unique about my day was i had to stay after lunch for a meeting with some of my friends.. well i wondered what the heck was going on and if i was in trouble, well i got held back becasue i was picked by the principal, and my teachers to take a leadership class and talk about it or something so that was really cool! Last thing that was cool i guess was that today in track i got to see my time for the 100 and 200 meter run and i got a 15.6 in the 100 and 34.2 in the 200, so i guess that was alright i came in last for my races but i was going against some pretty fast people! so that was pretty much my day, it was awesome!

Not a long post..

Just wanted to really quick recap my weekend by saying.. S*N*O*W*D*A*Y, then we won our bball game then i went sledding today! woohoo it wasnt a very long time cause i had to be home for din-din (dinner) but then after that i pretty much just sat at home and waited then watched some of the closing ceremony of the olympics.. ANYWAY i have a good thing to think about..

What if you were an olympic skier?, what would it be like to go down racing everyone elses time and just thinking what you had to do next to win the gold... What would that be like to visualize the course and see yourself going down it? what could that feeling possibly be?

Snowday/saturday

I forgot to post on friday i cant remember what i did hat night but i ran out of time to post.. oh ya i went over my friends and watched Zombieland.. for the second time! (best movie in the world) Anyway so im posting for today and yesterday..

PS, Candice is afraid of whales so she didnt really like the picture well sorry bout that i just thought it was a cool picture.. cause i like whales... but ya

So today we won our basketball game! woohoo i think the final score was 42 - 27 or 32 or something so we are 5-0! i had my first 2 points on the season.. ya i dont really shoot that much cause im not that great of a shooter but on the more positive side i had about 6 steals so i have maybe 10-12 steals on the season! also i think i had maybe 4 rebounds today. so i was a good game, the other team played a good game as well but we came out on top!
As for friday (S*N*O*W*D*A*Y) i didnt really do that much, i just kinda sat at home played some video games then i went to the Rec. to shoot some hoops.. and my friend came over.. that was pretty much it!

Oh yea random question.. did you guys/girls like that quote.. i thought it was odd and sorta out there but i laughed when i found it.. just wondering.

So anyway im going to wrap this up because its time for me to go to bed!

The Power of Positive Attitude
by Remez Sasson

Positive attitude helps to cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worry and negative thinking. If you adopt it as a way of life, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and makes them happier, brighter and more successful. With a positive attitude you see the bright side of life, become optimistic and expect the best to happen. It is certainly a state of mind that is well worth developing and strengthening.

Positive attitude manifests in the following ways:

Positive thinking.

Constructive thinking.

Creative thinking.

Expecting success.

Optimism.

Motivation to accomplish your goals.

Being inspired.

Choosing happiness.

Not giving up.

Looking at failure and problems as blessings in disguise.

Believing in yourself and in your abilities.

Displaying self-esteem and confidence.

Looking for solutions.

Seeing opportunities.

A positive attitude leads to happiness and success and can change your whole life. If you look at the bright side of life, your whole life becomes filled with light. This light affects not only you and the way you look at the world, but also your whole environment and the people around you. If it is strong enough, it becomes contagious.

The benefits of a positive attitude:

Helps achieving goals and attaining success.

Success achieved faster and more easily.

More happiness.

More energy.

Greater inner power and strength.

The ability to inspire and motivate yourself and others.

Fewer difficulties encountered along the way.

The ability to surmount any difficulty.

Life smiles at you.

People respect you.

Negative attitude says: you cannot achieve success.
Positive attitude says: You can achieve success.

If you have been exhibiting a negative attitude and expecting failure and difficulties, it is now the time to change the way you think. It is time to get rid of negative thoughts and behavior and lead a happy and successful life. Why not start today? If you have tried and failed, it only means that you have not tried enough.

Developing a positive attitude that will lead you to happiness and success:

- Choose to be happy.

- Look at the bright side of life.

- Choose to be and stay optimistic.

- Find reasons to smile more often.

- Have faith in yourself and in the Power of the Universe.

- Contemplate upon the futility of negative thinking and worries.

- Associate yourself with happy people.

- Read inspiring stories.

- Read inspiring quotes.

- Repeat affirmations that inspire and motivate you.

- Visualize only what you want to happen.

- Learn to master your thoughts.

- Learn concentration and meditation.

Following even only one of the above suggestions, will bring more light into your life!

ithought that was really a good way to put it. epically the last sentence!

so thats what i wanted to share today!

Whats today... Sunday?

ive forgotten it was sunday... whoops!! so anyway today i was having fun with my friends then i went to laser tag so it was a pretty good day!

anyway my basketball game:

cavs V.s trailblazers 30-30 overtime. two minutes left. tip off cavs ball, 2 min remaining. goes up and down the court for 1 min. offensive charge. now its 5 seconds left to go (i know i skipped alot but thats cause i dont remember what happened) cavs - 32 trailblazers 33. 5 seconds left we go down and with 1 sec left shoot a layup. cavs 35 trailblazers 33... the crowd goes wild..

and thats how the game ended. it was an amazing game by both teams but we came out on top! 4-0 baby. UnDeFeAtEd!

anyway not much goin on this week. hoping to sit down for about 30 min one day and post a really long one. thats my goal this week.

News News News

WOW, as i watch the 10:00 news all i see in the first 5 minutes is a women who murdered her 2 year old... then tiger woods apology.. sheesh people talk about negative! my god. if only there was a channel of news where all they talked about whats whats going on thats positive in the world (dont steal my ideas now!) i would watch it every day to learn new facts about the world and whats going on but i mean COME ON. all negative. no positive. Anyway. so today i lost my debate =[ but thats alright. they had a good debate (i think the judges were bias) but no matter! i asked my teacher if we could have another debate and pick our topics this time. but if you dont already know my topic was video games are bad for kids. but i had the negative so i was ACTUALLY saying why they are GOOD for kids.

one of the arguments was that video games reduce your time you spend with your family.. but i mean comeon. one time when i had my WII i had 3 of my bestfriends families over and we had a WII BOWLING TOURAMENT. does that sound like reduced family time... i dont think so! ANYWAYS..... (im starting to sound like the news, blah blah blah negative blah blah blah negative)

well i have to go to bed now cause its getting pretty late. tomorrow is b-ball.!

Smile today! (like the cat... BIIIG SMIILEE)

So today me and candice had a good laugh. because i was on the phone with her and we remembered a show we watched when i was maybe 7 or 9. we thought it was the funniest thing. the people would run around the supermarket and they had to find the designated item, whenever we watched it we had a blast. the show was called supermarket sweep! woohoo.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSwmFurzkpQ

anyway so thats what made my day was laughing about that. so todays quote.

Oh, my friend, it's not what they take away from you that counts. It's what you do with what you have left. ~Hubert Humphrey

when i first read this i thought it was kind of a sad quote... but then i realized that it really isnt. "It's what you do with what you have left" i think that this quote should be famous! its a very good quote about how to live your life to the fullest.. When life gives you lemons.. Sell them for cash!, just kidding, i think we all know how that ends!

REMEMBER TO SMILE TODAY!

im back!

Sorry to everybody who reads this daily. our internet hasnt been working lately, then it started working but i didnt know my password so thats why i havent posted in a few days.

ANYWHO! today (and the past 3 days) were great. today i went to Dave and Busters.

So today while i was at he rec center working out somebody told my dad that he had motivated them o work out a little while because he was in such good shape so i thought that was cool.
that just shows that no matter what your doing. if your doing it right then people will appreciate you/what your doing

last really quick i just wanted to post this article:

No one said it was going to be easy, the day you were born. Your mother never said that life would be a breeze and it will be clear sailing without any struggles, risks, or obstacles to overcome. Instead, you realized that things might not always go your way. Even as an infant, you got hungry, thirsty, bored, tired, sick, cold, hot, constipated, upset, startled, scared, confused, and frustrated by a myriad of circumstances you couldn't possibly comprehend.

As you grew up, you began to understand how you could control certain elements of your environment, yet still suffered from all the troubles I just listed. Even as an adult, we are subjected to these same issues that invade our lives. It appears that life is, and shall remain, a struggle until the day we die. It's how we cope and view these incidents that determine our character and the quality of our existence.

It's all about our attitude. With constant news reports about catastrophes striking every country in the world, how can we feel good about ourselves? There are starving people, natural disasters, political strife, warring nations, terrorism, pollution, health concerns, and over-crowding, both local and nationally. The news apparently is never good.

Add to that, daily confrontations with employers, store clerks, other drivers, and family members, you get the picture. You face a never-ending sea of bills, relationship challenges, and on-the-job dilemmas. Where will it end? Only at death, I'm afraid and some depressed individuals have already decided to end their lives sooner than later. But, for the rest of us that face these facts of daily life, what are our options?

We have to accept why we are on this planet in the first place. Assuming we have only one crack at a lifetime, we get to make the most out of it as possible. Through our own free will and perhaps some divine intervention, we control our fate. We can choose to allow the constant bombardment of negativity ruin our psyche, or ignore the obvious taunts and move forward with a good attitude. It's takes a commitment and constant effort to overcome the flow of obstacles, but it can be done. It begins with the simple things.

Do you smile a lot? Well, you should. Practice at smiling at everyone you see, whether a total stranger you pass in the supermarket aisle or your postman. Saying a kind word at the appropriate time, is even better. How's your sense of humor? Do you like to laugh? The cycle begins when you look and feel good about yourself. Surround yourself with other positive people, while divesting of the negative ones. When someone starts to offer critical feedback in a discussion, politely tell them that you prefer not to continue that particular topic. You can decide to change the subject to something more constructive.

We all have the naysayers that love to harp on life's darker side. It's time to put them aside and focus on people with a good outlook. Just like the negative news, these folks will bring you down. I dread those phone calls and now try to put a good spin on bad news. It's the old art of turning lemons into lemonade.

I relate those events back to the myth of the Phoenix bird. After a life of 500 years, it appears a tragedy is to occur when the bird builds a giant pyre of fire jumps into the inferno. But, later, after being consumed, a baby Phoenix emerges to begin a new lifespan with a renewed sense of optimism. We should all learn from this act.

Out of seemingly impossible situations, new opportunities can arise. This forward-thinking outlook can guide our thoughts and deeds at every juncture. Remember, we have this one life to survive and we are entrusted by our creator to do the best we can. I would imagine that the purpose of our existence is to create, not destroy, to uplift, not to put down, and to leave it a better place than where we found it.

How would you like to be recalled when you have passed away? As the old bitter, person that never had a nice thing to say about anyone or anything? Or as the positive, upbeat person, that embraced life and lived it to the fullest, thereby positively impacting everyone with whom you interacted? It's your choice while you're living.

If I've touched a nerve and got you to think about being a more positive person, then great, because you can make a difference from this moment on. Just get out there and feel good about yourself. Treat yourself to something decadent like dark chocolate, a new pair or shoes for the lady, or a power tool for the gentleman, because you deserve it. Hey, did I just catch you smiling?

Tuesday

so today (this might be really random) bu i figured out something. The more mad you get about something the worse you do in it! so why be negative if it'll have a negative effect on you. Also in language arts we are doing a project where we have to debate other people (within the school) about topics and my group has "Video games are good for you" and i think this is an interesting "article" or subject to discuss. so when i do my debate on the 18h or 19th ill post how it went and the whole debate.. so look for that ahead (by the way, we have really good facts to support our side) Here is a sample of one site we are using: http://www.pri.org/science/technology/benefits-of-video-games-1741.html

A host of new studies show that video gaming might actually improve visual skills and increase brain capacity.

The following is a partial transcript; for full story, listen to audio

Turn off the computer and go outside and play! We've all heard the conventional wisdom that says video games will turn your brain to mush. But a host of new studies show that gaming might actually be good for your health.

Researchers at Nottingham University found that playing certain video games could achieve in one hour what eye patches achieve in 400 hours; while researchers at the University of Rochester found that first-person shooter video games improve visual skills by increasing the brain’s capacity to spread attention over a wide range of events.

But wait, there's more! The Mind Research Network in Albuquerque, N.M., found that Tetris players developed a thicker cortex than those who didn’t play. And the Nintendo Wii has been helping Parkinson's patients improve balance. So, are video games good for you?

Baratunde Thurston, host of "Popular Science's Future Of," a TV show on the Science Channel, says video gaming has more positive effects than you might think.

He says the research shows that there are several benefits to video gaming. "There's the social; There's a new sort of storytelling format, and the way of interacting with other people. It's a mental workout. It's fun, and there's also the ability to destroy things," said Thurston.

Technology writer Clive Thompson, the blogger for Collision Detection and a frequent contributor to "Wired" and "The New York Times," says some of the studies support the mental workout that players can get from the games.

"There's been studies that show for example, if you play Tetris a lot, it increases the white matter in your brain. And the more white matter in your brain, the more efficient you are at doing certain types of thinking.

"And there's been other studies that show surgeons -- laparoscopic surgeons -- if they play video games before they do surgery, they actually have almost 40 percent fewer errors. I's sort of getting their hand-eye coordination up to speed before they do a delicate task like that."

When gaming involves multiple players, it encourages both teamwork and individual effort.

"It's a little society and you learn to be a member of a society with the values and reputation and cost that goes with it," said Thurston.

The idea that gaming might improve certain skills shouldn't be too surprising, since pilots and astronauts have long been trained in video simulators.

"The idea that games could affect your behavior is intuitive because all sorts of areas have used them to train people in doing things quickly, said Thompson. "The thing that's really interesting is that the research has started to branch out to look at these unexpected ways that games might be good to you.

"There's a piece [of research] that came out earlier this year that completely fascinated me, which was the idea that you could us Tetris to treat post-tramatic stress syndrome. Now people think that PTSD as something that happens if you go to Iraq, but it most often happens if you've had a car accident. And what they discovered was if you get someone to play Tetris for 45 minutes or so after a car accident, it might seriously decrease the amounts of flashbacks they have. Essentially it occupies the visual cortex so much that you don't take all those flashbacks images of being in a car accident and read them into your brain as well."

But, Thompson says, there is still that side to gaming that isn't so positive. "Video games are designed to be very addictive. People pay tens of millions of dollars to make these things as addictive as possible. So it's absolutely true that the great danger with them is you'd rather play them than eat."

"The Takeaway" is a national morning news program, delivering the news and analysis you need to catch up, start your day, and prepare for what’s ahead. The show is a co-production of WNYC and PRI, in editorial collaboration with the BBC, The New York Times Radio, and WGBH.

So thats just how we are doing our debate.

Yesterday i completley forgot to post cacuse i had a basketball game and then i went and slept over my friends house. ANYWAY, we won our basketball game over the nuggets 28-24... so now we are 2-0

just wanted to make a quick post for today. also this one is for today and yesterday because i have family over and we are preparing for the super bowl! w00t! GO SAInTS

Today was a good day!

today was a pretty good day. not to much going on but i had a good school day then i went bowling and got a like 100 or 101 or something and now im going to the mall so i just wanted to say that i had a really good day and nothing much going on.

last i had an example of being positive or more rather a personal experience.
When i started working out 2-3 months ago i weighed 90 pounds and could max out at about 70-90.

NOW 2 months later i weigh 110 pounds and i can max out at 145 pounds so thats good/positive thing about my life. So anyway i think that if you are positive toward life then life will be positive toward you, and thats my quote of today!

If you're positive toward life then life will be positive toward you.

just a real quick tuesday

just a really quick thought today.

just saying that i thought it was funny cause as i was watching The Office i caught myself smiling not really cause i thought something was funny but because ive connected with the characters in that show and i would have never thought that you could smile without knowing it. so thats my learning of today and thats me keeping positive!

if you watch American Idol then you've already probably seen this but i still think its hilarious

Wednesday For ket-chup

So today i wanted to say that i COMPLETELY forgot to say the score of my basketball game on Saturday which we won 33-26 over the bobcats, i had no points and no shots but i had 2 steals so thats on the positive side.

Also i forgot to say to my sister GOOD LUCK AT SCHOOL, she just went back to California and actually she started school on Feb. 1st so congratz to her.

Anyway i found or thought of rather a good example of positive attitude while i was watching TV. I was watching The Biggest Loser last night and i saw these people who were 300..400 pounds and i thought to myself "They may be overweight but they have the power to choose how the handle it and they are handling it with a positive attitude and making a difference." So as i say this i say this for just about everything else in life. It is all about how you look at things, i know i ALWAYS go back to this example but the glass half Empty/Full. if you look at it half empty then you are choosing to look at it in a negative way. Now my question to the people who look at it that way.. Why? why look at the glass half empty when you could join me and millions of other people in the world who live a positive life and look for the positive in EVERYTHING!

Also-last i just wanted to say that in school we are debating about certain things and in MY opinion i dont think that there is anything to debate about being positive or negative.

Day 13!

Well! day 13 it is. So yesterday while i was checking to see how many people had visited my blog i found that i had a view from India, i thought that was cool and it brightened up my day a little more! so today just wanted to say that i had a great day and check out this youtube video!

SUUUUPER sunday!

so today was a Pretty good day, not much went on but that dosent mean it wasnt good! anyways today is another short blog cause its kinda late and i have to go to bed soon, hopefully ill right a long blog soon. Anyway just wanted to say Stay positive and try to make a list of things you have to do this week and put be positive on the top.

Quote: It always pays off to be positive

Saturday, January 30, 2010

About yesterday, the song wasn't supposed to be sad i just wanted to say goodbye to my sister so if you thought it was a sad song, my bad. but anyway im doing my blog earlier this morning cause i have a basketball game (my team is the Cavs the team we are V.S Bobcats) and im playing 1st and 4th quarter. Then after that im going to my friends house for a sleepover.

Thats my weekend in a nut shell. but so today i know my team is gonna win!

So today i just wanted to say that I've been putting in my own quotes, although ive done this i dont know if other people own the quotes im just writing in what i think of at the time.

So last thing that i want to say is that you should make a list of goals at he beginning of each week and at the top of your list you should put "Be positive all week long"... see how it goes and tell me cause if you are a negative person and you try to be positive all week long you'll find that it isnt as easy as you think.
Thanks for reading today! be positive.

Busy day # 6

Ping pong tournament, dance parties, spelling bee's, its all in a days work!

im winded from playing some intense ping pong with my dad... i lost by one point but its all good cause i have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

so today i was in the spelling bee and i was feeling pretty good and then i got the word Solemn.. which i had never in my life heard, and so i spelled in solumn and was out the first round. But i was ok cause we got free pizza!

anyway so i had a good day. just went to school... had some laughs at lunch, normal day.

so the other day i came across a website and here it is. i though it was interesting http://www.successconsciousness.com/index_000009.htm

so almost time to hang with the sista.

day five!

SO its day five! I've hit a milestone (thank you Candice for that word)

So last day of the weekend, nothing really new to talk about but i did wanna say something.

If you are getting mad about your work or anything else that people get mad about, just take a break and eat something like a orange or an apple. Other suggestions are take a walk, walk your dog if you have one or do some chores so you dont have to do them all over the weekend. Another one for if you are at work just go around and talk to some people and see what they are doing this weekend or this week or over the summer, but ive found that if your stressed that you should take a break from what is stressing you out.

Also i know that alot of workplaces dont really allow you to have "breaks" in you work day so just take a small break. just sit in your chair and plan what your having for dinner or other things.

Last is i found another way to stay positive! my way to stay positive is... NEVER BE NEGATIVE!

just kidding :D

ive found that being positive isnt always an easy thing to do, espically if a family member dies, or something tragic happens or anything else that could make you sad. and i might be Mr. Positive but it is ok to be negative sometimes BUT on the contrary you should be positive as much as possible. Something that i've found is that when your positive then the people around you are positive as well!

So to leave a good sunday off on a good note:

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

Day Cuatro!

ahh what a wonderful day four was.

so today i just wanted to say what i means to be "positive" cause some people say "Oh i can do that" but they don't really even know what it means.

at⋅ti⋅tude

[at-i-tood,]
–noun
1.)manner, disposition, feeling, position, etc., with regard to a person or thing; tendency or orientation, esp. of the mind: a negative attitude; group attitudes.

so having a positive attitude is this but positive feeling or positive regard to a person or thing.

So in my words. to have a positive attitude is to be positive toward an act or person. so what i mean by this is if your positive toward something then your happy and look at things in a more "good" (if you will) perspective.

thats what it all comes down to, So if you want your life to be more positive, start looking at the glass half full and be happy and nice to other people around you and more confident.

thats how I define having a Positive Attitude, Tell me how you would say what it is!

Daily quote:

Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.

All in all it was a a positive day, no negative for me!

Day Two

Day two... Day two... wow i cant believe i'm doing this!

anyway today was a great day! i had a really good day at school. made a few people laugh, no homework, got home and went to Madd Chef for an AMAZING dinner! To eat i had a potato and steak salad and it was GREAT!

Right now just kicking back watching community waiting for the office to come on (HILARIOUS)

So last night when i was looking around for my daily quote i found this really "positive" site. The first sentence sent chills through my spine so you should really check out http://www.successconsciousness.com/index_000033.htm

so to end today because the office is coming on so:

Day ONE!

Cant believe i'm finally starting to do this. Inspired by my sister (The Daily Challenge) I am now going to try to do this every day for the next year.

Tonight i'm not going to post that much because its almost my bed time. but i just wanted to say thank you to everybody who is reading this, and I hope it is a life changer.

last i want to end with a inspirational quote every time so this weeks quote is:

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
- William Shakespeare
