im back!

Sorry to everybody who reads this daily. our internet hasnt been working lately, then it started working but i didnt know my password so thats why i havent posted in a few days.

ANYWHO! today (and the past 3 days) were great. today i went to Dave and Busters.

So today while i was at he rec center working out somebody told my dad that he had motivated them o work out a little while because he was in such good shape so i thought that was cool.
that just shows that no matter what your doing. if your doing it right then people will appreciate you/what your doing

last really quick i just wanted to post this article:

No one said it was going to be easy, the day you were born. Your mother never said that life would be a breeze and it will be clear sailing without any struggles, risks, or obstacles to overcome. Instead, you realized that things might not always go your way. Even as an infant, you got hungry, thirsty, bored, tired, sick, cold, hot, constipated, upset, startled, scared, confused, and frustrated by a myriad of circumstances you couldn't possibly comprehend.

As you grew up, you began to understand how you could control certain elements of your environment, yet still suffered from all the troubles I just listed. Even as an adult, we are subjected to these same issues that invade our lives. It appears that life is, and shall remain, a struggle until the day we die. It's how we cope and view these incidents that determine our character and the quality of our existence.

It's all about our attitude. With constant news reports about catastrophes striking every country in the world, how can we feel good about ourselves? There are starving people, natural disasters, political strife, warring nations, terrorism, pollution, health concerns, and over-crowding, both local and nationally. The news apparently is never good.

Add to that, daily confrontations with employers, store clerks, other drivers, and family members, you get the picture. You face a never-ending sea of bills, relationship challenges, and on-the-job dilemmas. Where will it end? Only at death, I'm afraid and some depressed individuals have already decided to end their lives sooner than later. But, for the rest of us that face these facts of daily life, what are our options?

We have to accept why we are on this planet in the first place. Assuming we have only one crack at a lifetime, we get to make the most out of it as possible. Through our own free will and perhaps some divine intervention, we control our fate. We can choose to allow the constant bombardment of negativity ruin our psyche, or ignore the obvious taunts and move forward with a good attitude. It's takes a commitment and constant effort to overcome the flow of obstacles, but it can be done. It begins with the simple things.

Do you smile a lot? Well, you should. Practice at smiling at everyone you see, whether a total stranger you pass in the supermarket aisle or your postman. Saying a kind word at the appropriate time, is even better. How's your sense of humor? Do you like to laugh? The cycle begins when you look and feel good about yourself. Surround yourself with other positive people, while divesting of the negative ones. When someone starts to offer critical feedback in a discussion, politely tell them that you prefer not to continue that particular topic. You can decide to change the subject to something more constructive.

We all have the naysayers that love to harp on life's darker side. It's time to put them aside and focus on people with a good outlook. Just like the negative news, these folks will bring you down. I dread those phone calls and now try to put a good spin on bad news. It's the old art of turning lemons into lemonade.

I relate those events back to the myth of the Phoenix bird. After a life of 500 years, it appears a tragedy is to occur when the bird builds a giant pyre of fire jumps into the inferno. But, later, after being consumed, a baby Phoenix emerges to begin a new lifespan with a renewed sense of optimism. We should all learn from this act.

Out of seemingly impossible situations, new opportunities can arise. This forward-thinking outlook can guide our thoughts and deeds at every juncture. Remember, we have this one life to survive and we are entrusted by our creator to do the best we can. I would imagine that the purpose of our existence is to create, not destroy, to uplift, not to put down, and to leave it a better place than where we found it.

How would you like to be recalled when you have passed away? As the old bitter, person that never had a nice thing to say about anyone or anything? Or as the positive, upbeat person, that embraced life and lived it to the fullest, thereby positively impacting everyone with whom you interacted? It's your choice while you're living.

If I've touched a nerve and got you to think about being a more positive person, then great, because you can make a difference from this moment on. Just get out there and feel good about yourself. Treat yourself to something decadent like dark chocolate, a new pair or shoes for the lady, or a power tool for the gentleman, because you deserve it. Hey, did I just catch you smiling?

Today was a good day!

today was a pretty good day. not to much going on but i had a good school day then i went bowling and got a like 100 or 101 or something and now im going to the mall so i just wanted to say that i had a really good day and nothing much going on.

last i had an example of being positive or more rather a personal experience.
When i started working out 2-3 months ago i weighed 90 pounds and could max out at about 70-90.

NOW 2 months later i weigh 110 pounds and i can max out at 145 pounds so thats good/positive thing about my life. So anyway i think that if you are positive toward life then life will be positive toward you, and thats my quote of today!

If you're positive toward life then life will be positive toward you.

About yesterday, the song wasn't supposed to be sad i just wanted to say goodbye to my sister so if you thought it was a sad song, my bad. but anyway im doing my blog earlier this morning cause i have a basketball game (my team is the Cavs the team we are V.S Bobcats) and im playing 1st and 4th quarter. Then after that im going to my friends house for a sleepover.

Thats my weekend in a nut shell. but so today i know my team is gonna win!

So today i just wanted to say that I've been putting in my own quotes, although ive done this i dont know if other people own the quotes im just writing in what i think of at the time.

So last thing that i want to say is that you should make a list of goals at he beginning of each week and at the top of your list you should put "Be positive all week long"... see how it goes and tell me cause if you are a negative person and you try to be positive all week long you'll find that it isnt as easy as you think.
Thanks for reading today! be positive.

Busy day # 6

Ping pong tournament, dance parties, spelling bee's, its all in a days work!

im winded from playing some intense ping pong with my dad... i lost by one point but its all good cause i have a POSITIVE ATTITUDE!

so today i was in the spelling bee and i was feeling pretty good and then i got the word Solemn.. which i had never in my life heard, and so i spelled in solumn and was out the first round. But i was ok cause we got free pizza!

anyway so i had a good day. just went to school... had some laughs at lunch, normal day.

so the other day i came across a website and here it is. i though it was interesting http://www.successconsciousness.com/index_000009.htm

so almost time to hang with the sista.

day five!

SO its day five! I've hit a milestone (thank you Candice for that word)

So last day of the weekend, nothing really new to talk about but i did wanna say something.

If you are getting mad about your work or anything else that people get mad about, just take a break and eat something like a orange or an apple. Other suggestions are take a walk, walk your dog if you have one or do some chores so you dont have to do them all over the weekend. Another one for if you are at work just go around and talk to some people and see what they are doing this weekend or this week or over the summer, but ive found that if your stressed that you should take a break from what is stressing you out.

Also i know that alot of workplaces dont really allow you to have "breaks" in you work day so just take a small break. just sit in your chair and plan what your having for dinner or other things.

Last is i found another way to stay positive! my way to stay positive is... NEVER BE NEGATIVE!

just kidding :D

ive found that being positive isnt always an easy thing to do, espically if a family member dies, or something tragic happens or anything else that could make you sad. and i might be Mr. Positive but it is ok to be negative sometimes BUT on the contrary you should be positive as much as possible. Something that i've found is that when your positive then the people around you are positive as well!

So to leave a good sunday off on a good note:

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

Day ONE!

Cant believe i'm finally starting to do this. Inspired by my sister (The Daily Challenge) I am now going to try to do this every day for the next year.

Tonight i'm not going to post that much because its almost my bed time. but i just wanted to say thank you to everybody who is reading this, and I hope it is a life changer.

last i want to end with a inspirational quote every time so this weeks quote is:

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.
- William Shakespeare
